Still remember when I was much younger I heard him say getting married would be something he wouldn't do. I guess today states the day his words are proven wrong. He has found someone who has changed his life and mind. :) This cousin of mine is finally happily married with his beautiful wife,Catherine. Congratulations! :)
I managed to get a couple of good photos to share with you peeps. :) It was such a happy moment to see the bride and groom smiling with joy that you can see in their eyes. :) Gotta admit, my cousin looks really good on the red carpet. :) Not to forget the bride looks stunning as well. I guess most of the time the bride is always the prettiest among the rest. :) I would like to warmly congratulate them once again. :)
As I was looking at their photo montage, I was a little bit taken a back by the pictures. It was actually very well done and I suggest I have to give some credit to the photographer. :) Good job. Not only were the couple looking very nicely dressed up, the settings of the photographs were also very nicely done. I actually looked at the montage more than once. :) Very nicely done. :)
You'll be wondering, "Eyh, where is the food?"
Of course I will not forget about such an important thing. :) I don't think I will forget the name of this restaurant because the 'choi' is coincidentally also my middle name. :) Okay, the food is fairly alright. :) The dishes are very nicely done. The place itself is very spacious, so if anyone is interested to have a wedding there, the ball room is actually a nice and spacious place.
I really like gatherings like this because it brings the family close to each other. Each time I see my mom and her siblings sit together and talk it really touches my heart and makes me wonder if I could ever make it to be like them. Meet with my siblings and spend time with each other. :) There goes Mama Wong and my 'Sai Yi Mah' which means my younger aunt in Cantonese. :) They really look alike but I always felt that my 'Dai Yi Mah' (Eldest aunt) look like my mom the most. :)
It was a really tough time to take pictures with the bride and groom. They were so busy taking pictures with everyone else. :) haha but still managed. :) Muahaha! :P I apologize if I am not looking at my finest, they are prettier than me. -.- But still I feel happy for them . :) Also I apologize for the blur settings, my dad took this picture so... :) You know..
The 'yam sing' session or you can call it the toasting session where the families of the bride and groom would go to the stage and make a toast together with the guest as a token of blessing to the newly weds. :) It was mad loud but it was bearable because I understand when you're a little drunk you automatically speak louder and that includes shouting as well. :) Since it was such a happy moment, its fine. :)
This picture is requested by Mama Wong. My 'Sai Yi Mah' ( Younger aunt) and 'Sai Yi Cheong' (younger uncle). I wouldn't say that they are given the opportunity for education but they surely do their very best for their children for their future and life. :) I apologize for the blurriness, its my fault. :( Sorry. :)
Today was the day I finally also realise that I actually have many cousins. :O That's another cousin of mine and the one next to him is my 'biu sou' (my cousin in law) and the one next to her is my 'kao mou' (aunt). You'll be wondering why are there so many different names to address them? Well, that is because in chinese families we address each and every person in the family differently according to their position in the family tree. Oh, and the little girl is my ' biu yi sang' (niece)
Wokay, here goes my whole night hammering on the keyboard to write this post. :) I have to congratulate Wilson and Catherine once again and I wish them both a very happy journey together as a husband and wife. I wish them both abundant of blessings and happiness. :)
Love,
