Give it all or give up

Hello peeps! :)

I understand how frustrated you are right now for the lack of updates. I geddit. Its my fault I am so busy. I was busy fighting procrastination and making Papa Wong's money worth. Hahahah I'm asian, what do you expect huh? :P

Good news first then bad news ok? :)
When I said I was busy trying to make Papa Wong's money worth I meant doing well in the exams that he paid for. Well I didn't let him down at least. Perfect score for Fundamentals of Maths twice baby! :D Of course Mama Wong and the rest of the Wong members didn't have much to say. I belong to the Chinese family who's obligated to do well. If you happen to have good grades, your parents would be proud. If your grades is bad then they'll bring out the 'ok' shield. I'll give you an example ok..

Situation 1: If you have good grades.

Family Friend : Hey how's your daughter doing in college? What is she doing ah?
Mom OR Dad : She's doing very well. Very good student lah. She's doing Foundation in Business.
Family Friend : Wah, Foundation in Business ah? Good good!
Mom OR Dad : Yea lah, she is doing very well now.

*And the story keeps going*

Situation 2 : If you have bad grades.

Family Friend : Hey, how's your daughter doing in college? What is she doing ah?
Mom OR Dad : She's doing 'OK' lah. She is doing Foundation in Business.
Family Friend : Wah, Foundation in Business ah? Good la, my daughter also doing 'OK' now.

*And the story ends here.*

I'll give you a tip, whenever Asian parents say "OK lah", it kind of means that they are not proud of you. HAHAH its true. My mom confirmed it.

Anyways... truth be told, I am not the 'OK lah' student. My parents are always proud. They don't tell me that they are proud of me but whenever there are parent to parent encounters they are always super proud. They are trying to move away from the negative reinforcement but oh well, still in process. :P

No one has to know how hard you studied. How many late nights you took to understand and to get things perfect and good. No one cares how much difficulties you faced to understand it. They only care about the end product. How you did finally and excuses are just merely a waste of time. Those who enjoy looking at the process and the excuses are artistic people and nope, I don't wanna be artistic at all. I could be wrong for now so correct me later.

Be strong and don't give up. Just because you look stupid now doesn't mean you will always be stupid. There will be that one day where the caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly and you need to live to see that day. What is important is that you see what exactly you want in life and believe that you can. If you believe that you can, you will find the strength to do it. :)

Don't give up yet until you have given it all.

Till then, keep trying. :)

Stupidity at its Finest

Update update time~  Due to the terrible haze in KL striking once again without mercy, I feel sickly. Sad to say,  I was down with headache for the whole day. Still I was a good child who went to work and diligently did my job. Okay, I admit. I feel very lazy and terrible these days.  Besides all that, I think I had a good time because he met my parents unofficially and crazy as I thought it would be, my mother farted in front of him. I suppose that is errm... a way of expressing the warmth? HAHAHAHAH okay, now it just sounds weird .  Anyways, I had a good day today I think. :) I'll blog more often okay. I'm feeling lazy these days. I'm sorry.  Love,  Button

How to save up to RM50 a year by just saying "No, thank you"

Did I catch your attention? Yay~ I challenged myself two months ago to reduce the amount of plastic I was using. There are a few reasons why I decided to that. First its because I really like my government now and I appreciate how everyone within the cabinet is doing their best they could to save my country in spite of their limitations. I really want to save my country too but I am aware that I do not have enough money or power to make extreme changes for my country but I wanted to do something to at least help. I know what I am doing is like a tiny drop in the ocean but I remember I voted against the odds with everyone else and we made a huge impact on what we have today. A change. And I am very thankful that I did it. Okay back to plastic. So, my government decided to start a movement by first banning smoking in eateries and then after that another movement to discourage the use of single used plastic by imposing a 20 sen charge on plastics. In a way I am happy with the wa...
