To most of the people,it is like a huge taboo. It is like if you go for plastic surgery, you're a monster. This is my opinion on plastic surgery and some other people might have a different opinion. To me,there is no right and wrong for plastics.
Personally,I do not think plastic surgery will change anything in our personality.People always say that Beauty Lies in the Beholder but the beholder starts from you.If you don't have the confident in yourself, how do you expect someone else to love you?I believe that even without plastic surgery, everyone and anyone at some point are not happy with their looks. They might think they either have too big of a nose or maybe too little of eyelash or maybe too fat for society.
People starve themselves till they look like twigs and doesn't that consider as a form being a monster?Where is the beholder now?Don't we say that beauty lies in the beholder to those bulimic, anorexia and obese child?Instead we use our mouth and fingers to mock and point at people who go for plastic surgery when we made it a big deal?
To me,if certain people are unhappy with their looks and are willing to take their risk to go for plastic surgery in spite of the pain for the better confident of themself should not be given names or stereotyped in certain ways. One man's food is another man's poison.Just because you are able to embrace the flaws of yourself doesn't mean you get to mock others for their own preference on how they look.Of course you can share your opinion with that individual but there is no point hurting their feelings
Let's just say, each individual are different.Beauty comes in sizes and some people have different preference. If you cannot change their thoughts then embrace it.They are still the same person that God made and I know as a Christian,we have to respect God's creation.I acknowledge that but there is really no reason to criticize. :)
