The Power of Combustion

If you're living in or near Malaysia, most probably you're affected by it.You guessed it right, its the haze again. If I am not mistaken, Indonesia contributes to open burning almost every year. Its already well known but as far as I know, this year is probably the worst compared to the many years I have known of haze in Malaysia.

I remember in the early 2006 when I was just in Year 4.There was a wave of haze as well at that time just like it is now.Every student in my school were given mask to wear.Days went by and the number of students who came to school actually decreased so much till there were only less than 5 of them.I was one of the 5.Mama Wong said she was very proud of me for being such a responsible student at that time.I was very proud of it too. :) There were so few of us who came till we spent our day in the class room playing 'Batu Seremban'. If you don't know what it is,its actually a game where 5 stones are thrown simultaneously in different patterns. It requires a lot of hand coordination and focus to play. We spent so many days like that until the haze was finally over.It was so much fun honestly. :)

Now we are back again with an even worst wave of haze coming towards us. We were informed just today that we don't have to go to school tomorrow (Monday) . I think we should all be very happy but at the same time we should start praying as well. I mean,we wouldn't know how long more this haze will continue. How many more years will we face it? Honestly I don't know. Can we blame them? Honestly,I don't think so too. Burning is their only way to keep the land fertile so that they can keep planting and keeps the cycle going. If you force them to stop , this will clearly affect their economy. Its a system they have developed over the years. I don't think its going to be easy to ask them to stop. Many people depend on this as a job to put food on the table for their families. Life is tough and they have to work in order to earn. :(

Start praying but please don't ever forget to take care of your health.Buy good quality masks, drink more water and stay indoor as much as you can.Maybe one day, they will find a better way other than burning but right now, we should stop getting angry at them for all these and start taking care of yourself. If you have a rash due to the haze, please see a doctor. If you are already coughing and having a bad flu , please do not hesitate to get yourself some medication. Be strong, take your vitamins and don't forget to pray! :)

Love,
Button  :)

Ps: Schooling students,no school tomorrow doesn't mean no need to study. You still have a life after the haze. :) And.. when they say until further notice, don't get too excited. The haze might go away after tomorrow. :) Hahaha! God is full of humour if you don't realise. :P

Stupidity at its Finest

Update update time~  Due to the terrible haze in KL striking once again without mercy, I feel sickly. Sad to say,  I was down with headache for the whole day. Still I was a good child who went to work and diligently did my job. Okay, I admit. I feel very lazy and terrible these days.  Besides all that, I think I had a good time because he met my parents unofficially and crazy as I thought it would be, my mother farted in front of him. I suppose that is errm... a way of expressing the warmth? HAHAHAHAH okay, now it just sounds weird .  Anyways, I had a good day today I think. :) I'll blog more often okay. I'm feeling lazy these days. I'm sorry.  Love,  Button

How to save up to RM50 a year by just saying "No, thank you"

Did I catch your attention? Yay~ I challenged myself two months ago to reduce the amount of plastic I was using. There are a few reasons why I decided to that. First its because I really like my government now and I appreciate how everyone within the cabinet is doing their best they could to save my country in spite of their limitations. I really want to save my country too but I am aware that I do not have enough money or power to make extreme changes for my country but I wanted to do something to at least help. I know what I am doing is like a tiny drop in the ocean but I remember I voted against the odds with everyone else and we made a huge impact on what we have today. A change. And I am very thankful that I did it. Okay back to plastic. So, my government decided to start a movement by first banning smoking in eateries and then after that another movement to discourage the use of single used plastic by imposing a 20 sen charge on plastics. In a way I am happy with the wa...
