Guess the beginning of this week started out not so good I guess? First was the head mistress. She spent 45 minutes during assembly to lecture and rant about us. To cut short of her 45 minutes, she just wanted to say that we are of no good compared to others. Then she went on enforcing new school rules which has probably made everyone suffered in the most cruel ways. Luckily, we are quite resilient. :P
So far the things I have heard of people saying about the Head Mistress were quite painful to hear I should say. Like the one where people call her being status minded is quite painful to accept honestly but it felt like it is true. Honestly,I don't know. I don't know how status minded she is but I do know that for the past 2 assemblies, the same old ranting with no warm and sincere compliments for her students don't feel quite right. I mean, the type of head mistress I had in mind through out my secondary school years is not like that.
Then there are people who said she wrote a whole essay about her being upset with how students address her by her name. It sure felt like she is over-reacting. Again, don't know how far that is true. If it is, why? What is the problem with people addressing you by your name? Doesn't it brings closure to you apart from not calling your name at all? Doesn't it show how much people want to be warm to you? If it isn't then I am so sorry that people misunderstand you in the most cruel way. Either way, I'm on the fence. :)
Then there are those most detailed rules enforced by her recently which caused so much of havoc over these few days. Students are no longer allowed to have the freedom to wear any sized ear studs instead they have to succumb to wearing small and non visible ones. Honestly, that rule is really not a big deal to me because I wear stick and it would not be a big deal to the other students as well except our dear Headmistress had to order the prefects to confiscate them which later brought trouble to me. :)
Since I was the one who handed in all the reports and confiscated items, I had to stay for half an hour in the office to explain, be interrogated by the teacher, look for the clerk who handed the items to the headmistress because SHE WAS NOT IN HER ROOM AFTER SHE GAVE HER ORDERS... There she was when she saw me waiting to be interrogated, asked me why I was here and just went back into her room. A moment of silence for the victim here please.. -.-
Alright, maybe I am not the victim. but the students are the victim. :)
Poor students who have long hair now have to braid their hair. Those with layered hair have to tie their hair like a bamboo. Fancy watches are no longer allowed.
Ohh! Prefects have to tie a white miserable ribbon on their head like Granny Smith's grandchild. " Honey, let me tie you some butterflies.. " Said Granny Smith. Hahaha kidding... If the ribbons look slightly bigger and thicker it would look great honestly.. -.-
So here are the newly enforced school rules, what do you think?Do you like it?
Love,
Button.
